Up for sale is a 2012 fender John Mayer Stratocaster in Olympic White with OHSC. All parts of the guitar are original except the frets nut. These discontinued Fender Signature Strats are highly collectible and sought-after. The pickups are very unique and alone often sell for $700.Weight 7.9 lbsNeck thickness 1st12th 0.82 0.94 approxCondition This is a case queen. The body and neck are very clean, with only a few blemishes to note. I cannot even find any swirls or buckle rash to note. The blemishes are a small paint chip at the back of the neck pocket treated by luthier and a small paint finish mark on the the lower neck pocket. In the spirit of full disclosure - this guitar had a very slight neck warp, which I have read is not uncommon on these guitars and happened to one of JMs personal Fenders. The luthier was able to treat it with a slight fretboard replanning and a brand new full re-fret and new bone nut $450 job, and gave it a full clean bill of health. This work was just done and has less than 1 hour of play time on the frets.
